Students will share their stories about who they are, each grade level will have a project that differs in medium with the same goal, to tell their story. Students will explore who they are and what makes them who they are and share that in an original art piece. We will use crayons, paint, other materials, and books to explore how artists share who they are in their artwork. Students in younger grades will share what they love by painting a piece of art. Middle grade students will explore their history and create a collage using a variety of mediums including Gelli plates. Upper grade students will share a story of what helped them become who they are. Then they will create their own artwork with their choice of medium.
