I will be using these VR headsets to help students explore the historically influential locations we learn about in class. The VR headsets are compatible with smartphones. Students will go on a virtual tour of places like the Amazon Forest or the Mayan Ruins. I have also included many individual short readings on Latin American History. I teach a Latin American History class where students must pick a book to read throughout the semester. This would be a library where students could borrow a book that interests them. This will help them gain more information on the material and pick their emphasis on Latin American History and Culture.
