In order for these students to print the designs they have spent hours designing, we need to have enough 3D printing plastic filament to do it. The students love the project but haven't been able to print them because the filament can be pretty expensive. I have about 150 students who will be thrilled to learn they will be able to print and race their derby car designs. It really will be an activity they will be remembered for years to come. I remember doing it as a student and it still is one of my favorite "core memory" as a student.
