The Covid-19 pandemic means that students must have access to the books and materials they need at home. I teach at a small alternative high school and only have "classroom sets" of many of the novels I teach. With this investment, I will be able to send each of my students home with his or her own copy of the novel we are reading, and their learning won't be interrupted if school goes online or if they need to quarantine. By funding this project, you will help my students maintain access to the foundational materials they need in my English class and reduce the disruption that the pandemic has brought to their education.
