Using electronic balances will give my students a better chance to do labs correctly thus creating real life connections to science. These new balances will replace broken and old balances that my students are currently using. The old balances are not only inaccurate, but also do not give consistent values. The inconsistency of our current equipment gives students inaccurate readings. The incorrect readings lead students to have incorrect conclusions even though the work was done correctly. New balances will provide students with the equipment necessary to master the concepts being taught.
