Many students have not been able to experience hands-on and inquiry based learning experiences due to COVID-19 cleaning and sanitizing protocols. Small-group centers allow students to use higher lever critical thinking skills, cooperative work, and practice their language skills. This is incredibly important for the students that enter school from non-English speaking families. Small-group centers help students develop skills in literacy, vocabulary, language, science inquiry, and math. I would like to allow my students time to explore and learn cooperatively. These supplies will allow me to provide these cooperative learning opportunities.
