Gone are the days where you look up words in a translation dictionary and use phrases from a book to help you communicate. Even technology such as Google Translate and DeepL are useful to communicate with others. But, how would it be to use virtual reality games to learn another language. My students are refugees who have come Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil, and Turkmenistan to name a few. They are here seeking a better life. One where they can feel safe and get a good education. Unfortunately, it is much harder to acquire the language the older you get. Let's make it fun!
