This project is a special type of printmaking using the Gelli plates. Students use the acrylic sheets to cut out patterns and designs to use as stencils with the Gelli plate. Gelli Printing is fun and fast paced requiring a lot of forethought for it to go well. This would give students the opportunity to experience a unique form of art that a lot of people don't even know about. This technique is a huge part of the world of art and relates back to historical art from all around the world.

About my class
