The models and tools I have selected will allow my students to visualize and understand fundamental physics concepts related to forces and motion. These hands-on experiments will provide my students with new, exciting, and authentic ways to collect and analyze data, increase their creative problem solving skills, and increase their confidence in learning physics concepts. My students are eager to learn more about Newton's Laws of Motion and engineering design principles so they can create their own working amusement park ride models. Their hope is to showcase their models, and use their designs to explain physics principles with clarity and confidence, at this year's Physics Day at Lagoon.

About my class
