There is a definite lack in concrete understanding of place value which is essential to success in the 2nd grade! They must use it to add and subtract numbers (with regrouping) up to 1000! All of these supplies would help me keep place value in the curriculum daily as engaging activities for students. The organizational tools will help the students have easy access to all of the hands-on learning they need to be successful. They are so ready to be pros at place value, they just need more time and opportunities to see math in action!

About my class
