Thank You!!\r\nMany of our students do not have things such as Legos and magnet tiles in their homes so just being able to experience the joy of creative building brings a smile to their faces.\r\nOur kindergarten classes have been learning about gravity and we use the wooden blocks. They build and see how high they can get before gravity pulls it down.\r\nOur 4th graders have been working on creative designs and STEM building with the straw bricks. They've created some wonderful structures including bridges \r\nOur 5th graders have been using the Lego to creatively when we have a few minutes left in class after the completion of our lesson. I created little mats that you can see in the pictures that students can organize the animals on in order that have the names on them so students can connect the written names to the stages of life! When they first saw them they were super excited to try them out and kept switching with each other to try the different cycles. I think the coolest thing was when they asked about the egg that has a cut out to show the inside. They couldn't tell what it was at first and it was fun to tell them!
