Students who qualify for IEP services often have unique and individual needs when it comes to fine and gross motor skills, attention and focus, and sensory input. These seating options will benefit students working in my classroom and help me to provide resources that help make plans for inclusion in the regular class possible. Students who have been out of the classroom for long periods of time during school closures or during quarantine often have a hard time transitioning back to traditional classroom settings that require that they are seated for long periods of time.
