I used similar resources a decade ago and had a few left, which I used with some of my low readers. My students LOVE having their own magazines they can read. I love watching them realize they really are readers. I use them to enhance our units of study and then the children take them home. I have had several parents comment on the magazines when I send them home. Their children want to read them to everyone around. I really believe they will make a difference for my students.
