Many of my students do not have the opportunity to read at home. Every student deserves an opportunity to participate in independent reading time. My students love to read books of high interest that are at their reading level. Creating a comfortable place for them to curl up with a book will help my students discover the joy of reading. With the new books and comfortable seating options they can spend time immersed in a story. This project will allow my students to practice their reading skills that they are learning in class and learn to enjoy the written word.
