This life size articulated skeleton will be a valuable addition to my human anatomy and physiology classroom. In the past, we've had to rent disarticulated bones from the local university for the weeks that we learn about the skeletal system. My anatomy students are able to connect the concepts about bone landmarks and articulations by holding the physical bones in their hands and seeing them in real life and connecting them to the diagrams I show in 2D. This skeleton will be used in many different ways in my classroom. It will be valuable for learning about the skeletal system, and I would also use it as a reference for locations in the body when we discuss other systems of the body too. I also teach other classes and clubs in my classroom, and this skeleton will be a great invitation for students to explore and ask questions and start discussions.
