Since I am a first-year teacher, I did not have many books for my students coming into the classroom. I relied on donations and second-hand books, but many of them were coming apart and were not quality books. Having these awesome read-aloud books for my students will foster their already existing love for reading and help it grow as well! I plan to use these books as anchor texts to teach them different things such as the power of "Yet", having a safe and loving classroom family, and of course making it fun during our different holidays in the year.
