I am a first year teacher. I was hired the day before I started and so my classroom is lacking in a few essentials. Mostly it's lacking in a classroom library. The school library for my students is difficult to attend. We don't have a full time librarian (the librarian is also a teacher). So we can't attend the library during class time. This makes it hard for students to want to read. This project will help stock my in class library so that students can check out books directly from the classroom. My students are eager to read, they just don't have the best access to the library. This project will help them have access to books so that they can learn to love reading.
