Research has continued to show that sensory play creates and builds nerve pathways in children's brains! Students able to participate in sensory play use gross and fine motor skills, interact socially, learn how to solve problems, and so much more. Sensory tables and sensory play items are expensive and are usually difficult for teachers to afford on their own. The things I have chosen will engage students in so many ways! They will be able to use their senses at the sensory table, build with three-dimensional shapes (a part of the kindergarten math curriculum), paint with sensory foam, try flexible seating, touch tactile letters, and more. Please consider our class for this donation!
