I am hoping to raise funds to get yoga mats for our after school yoga and meditation club as well as art supplies for students to create new ways of expressing their learning. Over the past two months I have seen how painting brings new joy to students who have experienced deep challenges and disconnection from education over the past two years. By using their creativity and unique skills, my students will be connecting our learning to the real life situation of building something new to give back to their communities. These kinds of experiences are essential, meaningful, and powerful in order for us to create a lasting impact and inspire students to unleash their full potential.

About my class
