This project would cover several areas- Reading, Writing, and Physical Education. Our classroom is a dynamic mix of students with varying interests, and our needs reflect that. We're requesting a set of high-interest books to engage our readers, writing materials to engage our poets and artists, and some PE equipment to engage our athletes. Covid-19 severely impacted our students' education and has caused serious learning gaps, which means that I as a teacher need to engage them in interactive and higher-level activities. Targeting their interests is one method of generating higher engagement, which will help close those learning gaps. These learning materials would allow me to prepare lessons and activities that would not be possible otherwise.
