In my third-grade class, we just finished reading "Frindle" by Andrew Clements. My students have absolutely loved reading and studying this book. Reading the book together as a class has helped my students engage in conversation and obtain a deeper understanding of the text. In order to have a successful book study like this, it is vital that all of my students have their own copy of the book. This is where I need your help! Your donation will ensure that each student receives their own copy of "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane" by Kate DiCamillo, and "Matilda" by Roald Dahl My students would LOVE to do these book studies. Please help make this possible! When reading as a class, readers of all levels get the opportunity to enjoy the novel and get to engage in discussions about their comprehension of the story with their peers. Chapter book study such as this helps build a positive community in the classroom, improves each and every student's reading stamina, but most important; it gives a student the opportunity to fall in love with reading. Your donation will help make this dream a possibility for my third-grade students. Please help my students engage in reading and find their love for reading.
