The reading theatre scripts will support partner reading activities that build collaboration and teamwork. The red baseline paper will support student writing practice in name writing, short stories and alphabet practice. Alphabet locks will support student differentiation of uppercase versus lower case letter recognition. Comprehension cards will aide students with reading and answering questions to understand texts. Ten frame cards and number bond materials will support foundational addition and subtraction skills within ten. Growth mindset posters will set a clear tone of encouragement for all learners. Tactile letter cards will allow students to touch the shape of letters which will directly support letter recognition and writing. Sight word bingo will give students direct support within assessment to gauge if students can read particular sight words independently. Counters will support student abilities to count from 1 to 100.
