With the Covid shut down and remote learning the past two years, there are gaps in some areas of learning. Science is one that I would like to focus on. My 4th graders love to learn about new things and the opportunity to learn about the world and how things work. Our state adopted the new science curriculum last year, and I would like to have resources to help my students. Our curriculum covers Environments, Waves, Energy Transfer, and observable patterns in the sky. Having hands on and engaging projects to stir their curiosity, help with problem solving skills, and motivate their participation. With new science supplies, the students will have the opportunity to engage in science activities that promote experiences with 21st Century learning. I would also like my students to experience different genres of literature. I would like to add to my reading library some different sets of books to help them develop a love for a genre they may not choose on their own, such as poetry.
