This girls lacrosse team has created an opportunity for students to heal from COVID-19. Many have never had the opportunity to play on a sports team. Many of the athletes have felt isolated in the past couple of years and this gives them a chance to be a part of a team. While adding skills of teamwork and confidence in ones self. Female athletes are often left behind in the sports world. By creating a girls lacrosse team in a rural high school, I hope to empower the young women of tomorrow with skills and opportunities that will enable them to reach for dreams beyond their imagination. Please help give these girls a chance at being a part of a team.

About my class
