The materials asked for through this project will allow my students to explore Acrylic Painting. They will be able to learn color theory, color mixing, value, juxtaposition, and many more art skills through exploring realistic and abstract art techniques. I will be able to demonstrate the techniques used in this form of painting while using the materials requested. Students will be able to away a large variety of techniques from not only my demonstrations but by the use of canvas and acrylic paint. Students will also be able to explore their personal ideas by creating artwork with the materials provided. The materials are simply a medium through which I will get to know and see my students for who they are. I love sharing my passion for art with my students and watching them grow and succeed.
