The classroom library area will create an inviting space where students can relax in a cozy atmosphere, breathe clean air from live plants, and choose literature from a wide variety of books. They will be able to use the space as an area to calm down if needed and they can also browse books that they can check out to use at home. With the wide range of books, students can select literature that interests them. They can read books at their own pace and a reading level that is comfortable for them. My students enjoy browsing the small amount of books that I currently have in my classroom library; having an increased amount of literature will give then the freedom to choose more books and use any down time to relax in the safe space of the classroom library. My class will have more books to choose from in our upcoming novel study. They can read these at their own pace and exchange books if needed. The plants, insects, and headphones will provide extra support to create a safe, educational study space in the classroom.
