My students must use real-world scenarios and examples to learn about science in the world around them. These heart rate monitors will be a versatile tool that will be used for many different activities. Getting a "pulse" on my students will allow them to be more engaged in their own learning. Having tools and objects available for hands-on learning is hands down, the best way to keep my students engaged and excited to learn more. I am excited for the opportunities that will open up for my students with the addition of these to our classroom.
