Whatever non-classroom sets of novels I have for students to check out are my own, not the school's. With no school library, I need more novels. These kids are so bright and get through my shelves rapidly. I supply my own reference books: dictionaries, thesauruses, style manuals. Thus, I also need more materials here, especially good dictionaries, which is why I included ten copies of the Elements of Style and a copy of Websters 1828 dictionary. Finally, some of my class supplies are either worn out, broken, or aren't quite what I need, so I've included a few classroom supplies on the list as well.
