Teaching during the pandemic has had many challenges and changes take place throughout our school and in our classroom. One of those challenges has been to provide the students with their own set of supplies so that there is less of a chance to spread germs. Students sharing a supply bin is no longer an option for us. I have had to provide my students each with their own set of supplies instead of having one set that the whole table can share. My students would benefit from having their own pencil box to put those supplies in. Some of the supplies we are short of right now are individual art supplies such as watercolor sets and markers, student dry erase markers, and also individual folders for student work. STEM bins would also be a great addition to our classroom. STEM Bins are highly loved by all of my students. They love to enter the classroom and take out a STEM bin to get their little minds woke up and their brains thinking first thing in the morning while everyone is arriving. It would be nice to have a few more to add to our collection so I can keep them rotated enough to sanitize and keep clean. It would also be wonderful to have an organized bookshelf where students could store all of their individual supplies and a cart that they could store their headphones in (since they each have to have their own now). Each student having their own of everything is sometimes hard to organize, but keeping them safe and healthy is a priority!
