My hope is that my classroom will become more interactive despite COVID-19. Earthquakes are phenomena that affect Utah students. I am requesting an earthquake board to more effectively show and demonstrate how earthquakes work. This will also align with current Earth Science SEEd standards as we talk about natural hazards and ways to mitigate them as well. My classes consist of 40 students each, so I am requesting two boards to make it a little bit more manageable when demonstrating and testing. I have been trying to teach through the student-sense-making method, and this requires more hands-on activities. Thank you for your consideration!
