Once COVID hit, each child was required to have their own school materials. When I wasn't able to provide materials for each child, the number of engaging activities in our class decreased. Children love to learn using manipulatives and when they are given rewards. The items that I am purchasing will help my students enjoy learning more by providing them with their own materials that can be used for hands- on learning. I am also going to allow them to earn rewards for their efforts in class. During the months that students were out of the classroom, due to COVID, their love for learning changed. I will help my students regain the excitement of learning with new manipulatives and resources. I will also provide them with more books they can read at home or at school.
