While commuting, doing chores, workouts, walks in the park, etc., audiobooks are a great way to immerse one's self in a book. Audio books provide an avenue to one's imagination unlike anything else. Also, with many of my students, their reading skills are below expectation. These audio books will allow them the means to stay with the class and not fall behind when dealing with reading assignments. Many students feel overwhelmed when reading because of their slower speed. Therefore they simply stop and don't even try. This will let them keep up.
