Giving students something to look forward to such as a dance performance is so encouraging and hopeful for them in light of the pandemic. In preparing for a concert, students collaborate with their peers and learn how to make creative choices. They build confidence in themselves, others, and the world as they perform. Providing costumes, hangers for the costumes, and lighting for the concert and our classroom makes harder days easier. Costumes are incredible motivation:). Using foam rollers to cool down after athletic activity, teaches students how to take care of their bodies.
