My students will use their very own math tool boxes during our daily math lessons to help them understand tens and ones in numbers. My lucky students are going to love math even better because they will have their very own math tool boxes to refer to while they discover and learn the importance of tens and ones in numbers. The magnetic hundreds, tens and ones frames, which each student will use at their own desk, will help them visualize each digit in a number represents a specific place which will help them later on with regrouping while adding and subtracting two digit numbers.
