I am a new Kindergarten teacher this year and it has been hard trying to set up a new classroom. I have realized the benefit of having supplies to assist in teaching literacy and math. We spend so much time on the rug teaching whole class, and having a large easel with the ability to store tools that we use throughout the day will be so beneficial to my students. I have learned the importance of literacy and how these students really get the basic foundation for their entire education experience in Kindergarten.
