Graphing calculators are an essential tool in high school mathematics. Having the calculators in class allows each student to get familiar with using them and solidifies understanding of math concepts. Having classroom sets of calculators gives each student the advantage of learning how to use tools to evaluate, interpret, make connections and visualize what they are learning. If students decide to pursue a career in mathematics (which is much needed in our society) then they will have an advantage by being able to use these calculators to increase their abilities.

About my class
