Art is an amazing way to help students be successful in or out of school. As of now, we are learning at school, and I believe that art helps students with stress relief and provides positive ways to manage mental health. If we do end up having to go back to distance learning at some point, sending a few art materials home with each student helps students look forward to logging in to class Zoom sessions while we learn literacy and math -- then end with a whole class art project. No matter where they are, we will have the materials for what they need.
