My students are avid readers and have limited access to books at home. I want to bring a variety of books that can peak their interests and open their minds. I want my students to feel like they have access to any book to continue their interest in reading. During quarantine, many students did not have access to books because they did not have any in their homes. Expanding my library with these new books, that my students will be able to take home will eliminate that happening again. Technology is a daily part of the learning process and it would be amazing if we had enough devices for every student in the class! I have asked for headphones so I am able to have a full class set. This way each of my students can have an active part in learning. Living in Utah we have many inside recesses because of the snow and cold. Having something for the students to do during that time helps with behavior and keeps students out of trouble. I have asked for multiple games to be used during inside recess. These games can also be manipulated to be used for math games!
