My kindergarten students are very busy. Their energetic bodies sometimes distract from the task at hand. Expecting kindergartners to learn while sitting still is like, giving a cat a bath. It can be done but nobody is having fun. It is for this reason I am asking for various items to keep my students focused during our center time. Optional seating and chair bands will help ease the frustration of having to sit still during reading groups or seat work. The games and activities will provide enough variation to keep groups smaller and engaged. A few other items will help support making materials durable for keeping clean and safe . I sincerely thank any donors who can make this project a reality.
