When there is equipment for every student, they will have time for more repetitions which builds muscle memory faster! A great advantage for students to learn spike ball skills is that many families already have this equipment at home. However, if a net is unavailable at home students can still play with family or friends simply by using a hula hoop on the ground or by drawing a circle with chalk. With beginner spike ball sets and regular spike ball sets, students will have the opportunity to learn and practice volleying skills at a level that they are most comfortable. They will practice social skills and sportsmanship by working with a teammate and playing against an opponent.
