Having quality mouthpieces, reeds and ligatures are vitally important to their ability to have a successful music experience. Most students are using old mouthpieces, or mouthpieces that are not of good quality. With so many things pulling resources away from the arts, these simple accessories often get neglected. In woodwind instruments the mouthpiece, reed and ligature combination have the largest affect on the tone quality of the instrument. Having these mouthpieces will also help with students not having to share instruments and mouthpieces. This will help students to stay healthy and not transfer germs.
