As adults, we learn to block out distractions and find places to work that will allow us to accomplish our tasks. My students on the other hand are not always lucky enough to have the skills to do that. My goal is to give students tools to help them focus like the noise cancelling headphones and lap desks but they will be able to use the file folders to create their own little private office space. All of the flexible seating will help the students find a comfortable, homey place to sit while they learn. By donating to my project, you will not only help to provide student with tools to improve and increase their attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
