During our small group specialized instruction, students will be able to write answers on their writing tablets and hold them up when prompted. We have been using small white dry erase boards with markers and felt erasers for this, but need to share them with multiple groups throughout the day. If we receive these tablets, we will be able to allocate one to each student and keep them with that group's materials so that there will be no sharing of germs. Some students have used these LCD writing tablets during class and loved them! The tablets are easy to sanitize and are not messy like white boards. They are great at keeping kids engaged in their learning and responding on cue! I use the erasable pens with my students who need help with their writing projects. I find that they don't groan about writing a final draft when they are able to use one of these erasable pens for the task. They make writing cool and fun for them. It is wonderful to see my reluctant writers motivated to write!
