These materials will provide my students with speech and language delays with the hands-on and visual tools they need to remediate their articulation and language skills and catch up to their same-age peers. Having fun, colorful manipulatives like Lego building blocks and people, magnetic letters, puppets, silly faces, wooden animal homes, a popping pirate, barnyard story telling activities, etc., will motivate the child to work on skills that do not come easy for them. These materials are language-rich and can be adaptable to meet many different speech and language needs of my students. Games, projects, visuals and hands-on objects can be used for token rewards during articulation practice, help to learn and use third-person pronouns, prepositions, adjectives, and verbs, create grammatically correct sentences, learn to ask and answer WH questions, tell a story, follow directions and much much more! Children with speech and language disorders and delays need a variety of tools that target different sensory modalities in specialized and individualized ways to help them learn. These materials will do just that!
