They will give me the ability to make more tools available both in my class and for students to check out to take home. The level of student engagement in 3d Drawing is a delight and seeing their visions' come to "life", of watching them experiment and take chances on their ideas is what creating art is all about. In art often students who have trouble with expressing ideas will find a place. The 3D pens not only capture their imaginations but require them to formulate plans and often do extensive problem solving...they can't "trace or copy" another's work but have to challenge themselves, the 3D pens can take them above and beyond in their thinking.

About my class
