Many students have been impacted financially due to the pandemic. I hope to use the funding available through this grant to give students some financial relief by giving each of them their own set of gloves, shoe covers, and safety glasses as personal protective equipment. In the past we have just had a classroom set of PPE that students were able to use, because of the pandemic this is no longer possible. All students need their own PPE to minimize the spread of Covid 19 and other pathogens that are harmful to them. This funding will help every student to have their own PPE and therefore reduce the spread of sickness in the shop.
