My learners have had a lot of time online during remote learning. It is time for them to experience more hands on projects to connect what they learned remotely to what is happening in the real world. The science kits and math manipulatives will combat the impact the coronavirus has had on learning this past year by giving my learners the opportunity to experience phenomenon hands on! Computer programs have a place in education but students need to physically see and experience how science and math work in the real world. Doing so will increase their likelihood to engage in their learning experience and use cognitive thinking. I'm excited to see the enthusiasm my learners will express as they discover how phenomenon works!
