I believe that moving is essential to our student's well being. These kids are working so hard in the classroom to fill in the holes that have been dug for them the past few years. They need to be outside. Good quality recess equipment will benefit my students in several ways. According to the CDC, recess helps students by: -Increasing their level of physical activity. -Improving their memory, attention, and concentration. -Helping them stay on-task in the classroom. -Reducing disruptive behavior in the classroom. -Improving their social and emotional development (e.g., learning how to share and negotiate).

About my class
