As we are developing the skills in children for reading we need to get books in their hands from our library that are on their reading level. All these books are Lexile Level 100-199. Teaching them the skill to read is only half of it. Teaching them to love and desire to read can only be done with books they can independently read that are interesting, fun, and exciting. Independent reading requires a variety of books to choose from with various interests, genres, and topics that help to contribute to the depth of their learning.
