Learning a foreign language is a skill that requires as many methods of interaction as possible. The most common one today is written communication on the internet, so helping students learn writing and typing skills in Korean gives them the tools to use Korean in activities they already do online, like texting and messaging. Learning to type in Korean is absolutely necessary for Korean learners in the modern world. Since Korean keyboards are hard to come by, using guide stickers is an easy way to help develop that critical skill. That being said, the art of calligraphy is strong in Korea, and I want students to have the opportunity to experience that art themselves. Having calligraphy supplies allows students hands-on practice with a special piece of Korean culture.
